"If the education of our kids comes from radio, television, newspapers - if that's where they get most of their knowledge from, and not from the schools, then the powers that be are definitely in charge, because they own all those outlets."
"No hobby should either seek or need rational justification. To wish to do it is reason enough.
To find reasons why it is useful or beneficial converts it at once from an avocation into an
industry."
"To be happy in life, develop at least four hobbies: one to bring you money, one to keep you
healthy, one to bring you joy, and one to bring you peace."
It is a peaceful hobby and can be done silently at home.
Reading keeps you occupied without
making you feel alone or disturbed. With advancement in the technologies, it has also become an
inexpensive hobby and can be enjoyed by anyone fond of reading. It is also a way of practicing
self discipline.
A single good-sized book will provide you with many hours of entertainment, it will make you
think about some aspect of the world around you and make you reconsider that aspect a little.
And even better, that single book can be acquired for practically nothing.
I think that in some cases it is more a
lifestyle than a hobby, especially when
you listen to music on daily basis and you feel somehow connected with it, that you have to
listen to your favorite music every day, because it means something to you.
It has the ability to change your mood completely, depending on what you are playing or listening to.
Music can make you feel anything ranging from happy or excited to sad or angry.
I can imagine living without some hobbies, but I really can't imagine living without my headphones and
listening
my favourite music.
Therein lies the key difference between cooking as a hobby and passion versus cooking as a daily chore. The sound of rustling when one puts something in the hot oil is like music to the ears, the sightof colorful veggies is like a beautiful painted canvas, the cutting of vegetables takes away all the buried angst so its a mindblowimg way of forgetting your miseries and responsibilities. The added advantage is the deliciously cooked food which can bring a soft angelic smile on the faces of your loved ones. Now thats a sight which brings the utmost satisfaction not just to the heart but to the soul.
"Software substitution, whether it's for drivers or waiters or nurses - it's progressing.
Technology over time will reduce demand for jobs, particularly at the lower end of skill
set."
"Talent you have naturally. Skill is only developed by hours and hours and hours of beating
on your craft."
HTML stands for Hyper Text Markup Language, which is the most widely used language on Web to develop web pages. HTML was created by Berners-Lee in late 1991 but "HTML 2.0" was the first standard HTML specification which was published in 1995. HTML 4.01 was a major version of HTML and it was published in late 1999. Though HTML 4.01 version is widely used but currently we are having HTML-5 version which is an extension to HTML 4.01, and this version was published in 2012.
CSS3 is the latest evolution of the Cascading Style Sheets language and aims at extending CSS2.1. It brings a lot of new features and additions, like rounded corners, shadows, gradients, transitions or animations, as well as new layouts like multi-columns, flexible box or grid layouts.
Bootstrap is a free and open-source tool collection for creating responsive websites and web applications. It is the most popular HTML, CSS, and JavaScript framework for developing responsive, mobile-first web sites. It solves many problems which we had once, one of which is the cross-browser compatibility issue. Nowadays, the websites are perfect for all the browsers (IE, Firefox and Chrome) and for all sizes of screens (Desktop, Tablets, Phablets, and Phones). All thanks to Bootstrap developers -Mark Otto and Jacob Thornton of Twitter, though it was later declared to be an open-source project.
